I was out Sunday for a few hours and landed 3 undersized walleye and lost two at the boat. I was fishing the north side with a 3/4oz.jigging spoon in water between 70-100 feet, lost the two because I was reeling them up reel slooow to stop ther eyes from pop-in out..

This is the time of year everybody jigs vertically over deep water with jigging spoons. Look for main lake points that dump into the main channel. You should graph balls of shad deep and the Walleyes and Wipers should be there with them. You will be fishing anywhere from 50 to 80 feet deep.
