Just wondering where's the best place to look for some good perching. Thanks.

I was recently out by spirit island- went out of stockys, anyway we caught some jumbos about 3/4 mile north and west of there. I have also heard of recent good reports out of wilderness resort. There is a mille lacs chat board at www.up-north.com

Give edy's a call. I just spent 10 mins. looking for their number but couldn't find. went last weekend--luck was ok. brought back 94 perch on sat and sun.

Eddy's is under Mille Lacs lake resort & Marina.
There is some Excellent perchin just south of Eddy's out from rocky reef. Occasional eyes along with them. With the new talk about a larger slot size on Mille Lacs For eyes, and a lesser limit on Perch, You might as well take advantage of the current rules while it lasts.

I just heard the new regs for 2000, 14"-18" slot and 1 over 28".

was there last weekend and slammed em on the east side on shaws reef in about 20-22 feet of water on swedish pimples (red prism tape) and a whole minnow. got real active about 10:20 am and then agian at 2-4 pm. stop at a johnsons bait in isle for more info
