Default Open water Colorado Walleyes

Has anybody had any luck with them?

I fished Cherry Creek Sunday, but with no luck. I did find schools of baitfish at the base of dropoffs, 25', but did not get anything to bite rigging and jigging minnows as well as jigging spoons through and around the schools of baitfish.

Thanks

I am going to try to make it to the cwa meeting tonight. I will let you know what they have to say. I saw a post last week that someone caught a 28" out of boyd a week ago.

Hey Eric. I went to Pueblo yesterday (sorry I did not extend an invite - last second decision to go after all). Same pattern and location as what we did last month - only one fish. Wrong species too. The water temp at the dam is 41. 39-40 on the remainder of the lake. Nets go out March 15th so the night crank bite should be soon.
