dates & times for camp perry exercises

Does anyone know how to find out the dates & times of the firing practices off shore at Camp Perry as I am anxious to fish the reefs nearby? Are there any public launching ramps between the Toussaint River & Crane Creek?

It is easy to find out about the firing, just contact the Camp Perry safety officer on channel 16 and they will tell where they are firing and when. You don't have to worry about most reef areas - just getting to them from the east. There is a public launch on the wet side of where Turtle Creek crosses Rotue 2 but I think there is only a foot or less of water there. You can launch your boat at several marinas on Turtle Creek - Fenwick, Inland, Lamberjack and Turtle Creek marinas for about $5. I would use Turtle Creek or Fenwick marinas.
