The lake is still hot. A lot of limits on Friday and Saturday. Good reports from the Green Isalnd area. A huge pack of boats was in the A-can area. There has been a school in this area for 4 weeks. We were catching them in 20 feet of water. We were trolling with spoons. The wormers did good, too. Maybe this year they won't migrate to the central basin.

4-Given, the central basin out of Lorain has been hot for three weeks also. And bigger fish then in the western basin. I was fishing by myself last Friday, and caught 10-fish weighing 50 lbs. Nice to hear the fishing is still good out west too.

I ALSO HAVE BEEN DOING VERY WELL IN THE LORAIN AREA. MY HOTTEST SPOT HAS BEEN ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE SANDBAR, ABOUT 8 MILES OUT. PULLED ALOT OF FISH IN THIS AREA LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS. DRIFTING WITH GOLD/GREEN WORM HARNESSES, RED AND WHITE ERIE DEARIES, AND PERCH PYGMIES. NICE SIZE FISH TOO. MAY TRY AGAIN TONIGHT. GOOD LUCK

I've been primarily fishing the 32-33/20 line, give or take a mile.
