Default Western SD fishing

I was wondering if anyone had any experience fishing Newell Lake here in SD for walleyes? I'm plannng a trip there this weekend. Also, is there a place where I can set up a camper or is it pretty rough terrain. Thanks for the info in advance.
PS I'll also be fishing for some of those snot rockets if they are biting.

I would check out orman dam for walleyes, it is mostly a night bite right now....Snot rockets abound at newell, and a rough road in to the place....

Thanks for the info Doc. I believe I talked to you before on this board and then via Email about Orman. I was up there two weeks ago and jigged and used tip ups all DAY in different areas around Gavins point. Didn't get a thing and only saw one flag go up but the guy missed it. Are they still getting them there? I was told buy one of the guys down at the Rooster that they were fishing from 6' to 15' off of the point from dark until about midnight. How have you been getting them? I'm going to go fishing someplace this weekend, just not sure where. I knew where the northern bites were really good this past week but I need some walleye for the frying pan. Thanks again for the info.
