How far out were you? Is it still safe to take a 16 ft boat out this time of year?

chaunc
we were in 47' of water straight out of the harbor. we were also in a 16' boat. with the 1' to 2' waves and only out 1/2 mile we felt safe. don't take chances, you are only able to realy fish the calm water on the warmer days anyhow. there were only 2 boats out there and we were one of them. the other boat was probably 16'. i don't think you can launch anything much bigger because the water was so low, at coneaut anyhow. |
