I was wondering is anyone has had any luck on this side of the lake. I'm specificly wondering about the Hunters point area. Thanks for your help.

Eye Crosser-
I went out of Hunters this past weekend. It was fantastic fishing on Saturday, and respectable on Sunday. Four of us caught 30+ walleyes (11 slots) and 30+ keeper perch on Saturday, and about half that total on Sunday morning. Very good weekend. Most fish were caught on rapalas, in 22-24' of water. We drove out to the last group of drivable houses(2 miles) and fished in our fishtraps. Moving around was a must, but well worth the effort. Good luck!

Where is Hunters ? I'm from Akron , is this location easy to get to? My buddy and I made a few trips to Huron Pier to no avail. Were you talking about wading or using float-tubes?

You need to ask Wallperch Guy. I'm the one who asked the question. It is a good question, and I would also like to know. So what is the secret Wallperch Guy?

Starfish/Eye Crosser, Sorry I've been out fishing.
Mille Lacs was slow yesterday(8 walleyes(inc. 29.5") & 10 perch all day) fishing by Hunters. Hope this cold spell will make some ice to get out to the mud. Toomy gave me a great report out of Fishers, but reports ice to be of mixed quality. To answer your questions, perch colored rap's w/ minnow head are working best, and keep moving around, seem to get the 'eyes in the first 5 minutes at a new hole, then nothing. Has anyone been getting into big schools of perch? Sporadic for me this year. Good fishing
