Default Shiver on the River / Saginaw, MI.

I stopped by the Gander Mountain store in Saginaw Tuesday morning and saw the leading walleye weighed in. I believe it was 13.37 lbs.. Female fat with eggs. Nice fish. What is the mortality rate of walleyes at a tournament? Just curious.

I like the "Guest" user title. Never mind...
The article you had me look at should be viewed by all interested walleye fishermen and ladies. Quite an in depth study on mortality. Read about Erie tournaments. Someone is enjoying a nice meal.

Paperboy, I rolled half of my fillets in buttermilk and crushed fritos, the other half, flour and egg for a drink and dredge. Your right, someone had a nice meal, did the taters with shaved onions, garlic and tons of butter on the grill to go with,...lordy. Loved that trip to erie last october, DEN was a big help with the reefrunners. So was my buddy Dennis,...Let the breeders go, fillet the over abundant males. Tight lines.....Andy
