If you were going fishing in the next 2 weeks around Electric City Washington would you fish the north end of Banks, the south end of Banks or go to Rofus Woods?
Any suggestions on catching a few walleye in Washington would be appreciated. |

This time of year either Rufus Woods or Banks could produce some fish, Rufus Woods is day to day depending on the flow. The walleyes in Banks will be starting to bite soon, best bet is the Barker flats area, or up near the head gates on the north end. My email is halld@odessaoffice.com if you need more info.

I'm a Grand Coulee boy, if you have two weeks I'd fish them all. Any where around Steamboat rock on Banks should put fish in the boat. There are several great spots in that area. (Check with either Big Wally's or Coulee Playland for details) As far as Rufus Woods, I'm a powerplant operator at the dam and you never know when we let the water out. But for sure we do let a bunch out between 5 and 8 am. The rest of the day it might vary. If you can't find the walleye, go try to catch the big rainbow that weigh up to 25 lbs. For these fish head downstream from Seatons Grove boat launch until you get to the fish net pens and use what the Coulee Playland guys tell you. ( I don't care for trout)
