Default Red Wing South

How has the fishing been below the Red Wing dam? I may try to fish this upcoming Sunday, Monday. Has anyone been catching any nicer saugers, walleyes? Have the walleyes gone shallow to stage for the spawn? Any help would be appreciated. I am waiting for the opener on Mille-Lacs with great anticipation. I need to satisfy the urge soon or I may drop dead.

Thanks

Default RE: Red Wing South

I was out on Pool 4 two weeks ago and did real well on the Sauger and a couple nice walleye. The area knowen as the "y" just before the dam produced the best also did ok near hay creek. Jig and a minnow worked best. I will be out again this weekend. I know that things slowed a little last weekend with the waether. The WWA tournement was on Pool 4 on Sat. and Sun.
