any info out of michigan city

I usually do not fish michigan city but Monday, Eric and I went over there. We simply followed the bigger boats out to deeper water ranging from 50-85' and dragged #1 dippsies 100' back with a 0 chrome dodger and green/blue tinsel fly and caught two nice 5 lb cohos. We then got tired of dragging and headed east of the lighthouse and set up in 25' of water and slowly drifted towards shore and got 20 decent perch with shinner minnows. Probably could have continued for a limit of perch but ran out of time. I don't think you can go wrong. Fished there over the weekend, coho, kings & skamania only 4 miles out, fish early before the crowds! Smaller dipseys set at #3 with 60' of line out w/ green & gold small tinsel flies was my best producer on Sunday. The fishing has been great!
