Lorain Ramp?

Have only fished out of Lorain a couple of times and used the Black River public launch - this is a long idle speed boat ride to lake. Is there any ramp that is closer to lake.
Also is there a bait store there that sells minnows and crawlers anywhere near there?

Lorain has a nice public ramp back behind the police station a couple of blocks back to the North West.

Hi,
The city Ramp is off rt 6 next to the Power House and there is a Hot Water Bait & Tackle Shop right at the Ramp.It is not far from the River Ramp.
