I fished Larsons and Monument last Sat. We got 3 eyes,2 gobies,2 white perch ,1 36" northern, 1-18" smallie and sheepshead up to 7.5 lbs. All the eyes came from one area and we should have stayed there but we didn't. Crawler harnesses=#5 gold blades. We marked alot of fish this last weekend compared to the previous week.

The walleye bite is really starting to heat up. We've been doing well on Monument Shoals, North Chambers Reef, and the mid lake humps out of Cedar River. A combination of cranks and spinners. The cranks have been better around Cedar River at about 1.5mph.

rangerpat,

How's things going? Haven't seen any posts lately figured you have got to be just fishing your @ss off!!! Hope things are going well for you this season, we're still doing fairly well on the Detroit River, seems like the bite didn't take a break this season, plenty of fisherman and women knocking down nice limits. Have a good trip with your boy and remember proper proceeder for fishing with our kids, If you start catching more then they do reel up until your out of the zone and let them whip us. lol And then when they are a lot better fisherman then we are, we will hope they do the same for us.....LMAO

Good luck and most of all have fun,
Dave

How deep are you working? Planners, longlining, leadcore, dipseys?

Thanks,

Mike
