Friday I fished Westbend. Action was good, 3 guys filled on 14-16 inch fish. Saturday fished Cheyenne river. fished hard all day and came out with 4 walleyes. Sunday went back to Westbend and caught our 12 fish and came home. The bite on Oahe is spotty at best. Some do well and some don't. Little bend boat ramp is ok and it has a dock. I did see a sign that said Bushes landing the ramp was closed? Not sure if that right or not?

sdwalleye, Thanks for the report. I'm heading to the same area this Friday night. I was hoping the Cheyenne River bite was better than you experienced. Looks like we may be spending most of our time in the Farm Island and Antelope Creek areas unless the Oahe bite picks up. I'll post a report when I get back.

I talked to a couple guides and they said the fishing has been good and the bite was from 16-25ft. We fished those depths and didn't have much luck until we moved out to 30-35. Good luck on your trip and hope you have better luck than I did.

Howdy. Saw your post and thought that maybe you could provide me with some information. 5 of us are headed to Oahe in two weeks. Going to be staying in Akaska. Willing to travel anywhere on the lake. Wondering what the best presentation would be that time of year. Cranks & boards, bouncers, jigs? Any info would certainly be appreciated. Thanks.
