Default Best ramp west side of Cleveland?

Hoping to try for some of those silver fish Sat. Never fished in this area. My info indicates we have a choice between Rocky River ramp off Valley Parkway from Detroit Rd or Cleveland Lakefront State Park, Edgewater, Memorial Shoreway, using Edgewater Park exit.

Any suggestions concerning best ramp and additional directions (if you think we'll need them)will be appreciated. Small boat, coming from the west.

Any info on the steelhead or eye bite will also be appreciated.

Many Thanks,
jc

I'd launch straight out of Edgewater. Head about 3 miles north of the crib in 54' water. We caught a 5 man limit of steelies out there on Memorial day. Running 0 dipseys at 80 back and 3 dipseys at 120 back riggers at 40'. Blueberry muffin was the spoon of choice. If you drop below 2.8 mph you won't be able to keep the huge sheepshead off your hooks. Remember steelie limit as of 9-1 is 2 per person. Good luck and keep your drags loose.

Thanks!

Gulliver, If your Gilligan on gofish, it was that info that convinced me to head that way! Thanks for the extra detail.

Best Wishes,
