Wondering if there is any kind of bite going on at either of these two lakes. Wife has a dog show to go to near Reynoldsburg,Ohio tomorrow. Wants me to take her!:-) Thought I might just pull the boat over if theres any chance I might pick up a few fish.:-) Any info would be appreciated.

Buckeye Lake is pretty close also and it has a good trolling bite going on straight out from the ramp from Liebs Island . They have been catching them trolling straight to Sellers Point on Shad raps 30 to 40 feet back , blue and silver seem to work best . Early morning bite then it slacks off until around one . I will be at Alum tomorrow prefishing for upcoming tourney ,first time back since the spring . All of the lakes Alum ,Buckeye and Hoover are full of saugeye so you should do pretty good no matter which one you pick .

Thanx CJ, the wife went on to Columbus without me. I only made it as far as I-77. Went bassin in Wolf Run State Park. Water temp there was 68 degrees at daybreak. Still a little too warm to get excited yet on the Saugeyes. Im gonna wait another week or two before I start getting serious. :-) Good luck at your tourney over there.:-)
