Default Anyone know where to catch walleye around cleveland?

I was wondering if there is anyone fishing for walleye in cleveland area. I launch from wildwood and the perch is good but I would like a change. I have an 18ft starcraft with a 50hp so weather permits my launching. Any information would be appreciative. Thanks

Shane

Shane, if you don't mind driving a bit, head out to the Vermilion-Huron area, it's worth the drive this time of year. The piggies are moving closer to shore and the fishing is great. I hear they are also catching nice perch a mile or so North of the Vermilion breakwall. Just take rt2 to baumhart road, head north, left at the dead end, (rt 6) a couple miles up the road next to Wendys is the Sportsman's Outpost. Stop there on your way, Den will hook you up with the latest info and a great selection of lures etc if you need anything.
