Default Lake Sharpe-late season

Had an opportunity to fish Lake Sharpe four times in November. Caught walleyes in 40-60 ft. of water. Have to raise the small fish slowly so their air bladders don't end up in their throat. Would be useful if GF&P would eliminate the slot in Oct. and Nov. so the small fish could be taken rather than put back in the water.
Last day of fishing was Nov. 22 and took about five hours to limit out. Only two boats where we were fishing--pristine days--water temp. was 42 degrees-air temp. was 55 degrees.
Got our limit each day--including over 18" fish each day. Lake Sharpe was an 8 month season this year-April through November.
You sure get to be a better walleye fisherperson in 60 feet of water!

Rooster, Thanks for the report. You're lucking to live so close to such a great fishery and fish so often. Every day the weather allows you to get out and fish this time of year is a real bonus.
