Default Devils Lake Walleye

Hey guys we are headed into the best walleye fishing Devils Lake,ND has to offer. The ice is very thick and they are starting to feed up for the spawn run. We are noticing the first stages of build up on the known gravel ridges. They bite mainly first light and at sundown, but you should be able to catch your fill almost everyday now. Devils Lake does not have a slot limit and does not have a closed season during spawn. Come catch some nice eyes thru the ice and then go catch some jumbo perch. We caught a 2lb 4 oz on Saturday. Most perch are averaging from .75 lb to 1 lb. Walleye are averaging about 2 lbs with some real pigs starting to latch on. The pike are crazy averaging 6 to 8 lb with some 15 to 20 lb fish being caught. Devils Lake has as good of an ice out walleye bite as I have ever witnessed. Its really nice here, you can totally get away from any other fisherman. No one will ever no your here.
