Default CLEVELAND / E. 72ND / FISH ON!!!

Fished the second pier from about 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Waves died down, but there were some rollers coming on the pier. I ended up side-netting the first two eyes because I didn't want to get wet. I netted the next two, but I payed the price and got soaked. The fish came off the # 14 huskys; clown color; retrive very, very, very slow. They were not even hiting it, every time I had one on it felt just like snagging the bottom, they started about 10:00 pm. I would've loved to stay and get my limit, but after getting run over by the waves on my second (fourth) fish I lasted another five minutes, then just froze.
Hopefully these are good signs for this year, last year sucked off the rocks, but the boats did very well!

Good Luck!!!

Hey Fishcrazy, glad to see your post. I was waiting to see if you were going to let those of us that live away from the lake know what was up with the night bite. Hope the show is about to start. I will see you soon.

P.S Good post. See ya soon, John.

I went out Friday night, no waves at all, but no fish. Fished both: Edgewater and E 72nd. Water level is very low.

The last time we spoke, you had a problem with your boat, did you get that fixed? I am planning on taking the trip up soon, so if possible let me know where you will be starting to fish from. I spok to a few of the other regulars, and they said that things are still a bit slow up there. Keep posting, and I hope to see ya soon. Is your cell phone number still the same, and do you still have mine? Talk to you soon, John.

Go up 71 past Dead Mans Turn and exit at Marten Luther King Blvd. and turn left. Then another left at the park.

That boat is done; blew a valve and busted the cilinder. I do have my cousins boat, but having some problems, hope nothing major. I did trolled around the Gold Coast Saturday night, nothing!. Only marked fish in 30 feet, down deep. I did go out to Lorain Sunday night (off the rocks), I heard they've been catching them there for about a week. Me and my friend both ended up with our limit ( 4 each ), all between 10-11lbs, between 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm. If you plan to go soon, Lorain would be the place!

Good Luck.
