Default Walleye SE of Peele Island

Fished SE corner of Peele. Lots of fish up there
but no wind. Very tough fishing with no drift. Tons of bugs
and biting flies. Lots of headboats out of Port Clinton making the run but they are finding it tough - 160+ Canadian licenses sold at Dicks Marina on Sat. am and 47 Wednesday am.

It's so slow, talked with two guys out of PC who fished all day til
5:00 pm and only had one fish.

We are scratching out our fish, usually a couple shy of our
limit casting homemade spinner rigs - gold bead body and big gold
blade - 1/2 inline sinker - retrieving steady on a 5 to 10 count.

Our HOT COLOR is gold bead body with a silver blade, red prizm tape on one side with a round yellow dot sticker with a black center on the red tape.

When the wind and waves start going the bite starts.

Hopefully we'll get some wind and the bugs will die down.
GOOD FISHING!
