Live to fish, fish to live! Anyone been having any luck around the area. Fished Carter last Sunday and could not get the Eyes to bite. Any special presentations working? All I can seem to hook are slimers lately. Saw some big Eyes on the graph over in front of the dam but nothing seemed to work. Wish I had a camera to see how they were reacting. Guess I'll try Carter again in the morning. Maybe this cold front has changed something? I don't know but its better than sitting in front of the tube or raking up leaves ehh! Dan Dan |

I was on Horsetooth yesterday, beautiful out there but no fish. I caught a fair number of walleye there this summer (none keeper size), but I haven't been able to catch one since. I have caught a few rainbow on Carter Lake, but even that has stopped lately. The water temp on Horsetooth yesterday was 54 surface then 50 degrees all the way down to 100'. If anyone has any suggestions on how to catch a fish this time of year, I'd like to hear it. Thanks.
