for all you walleye fishermen who fish the ditch...did very well today ..sunday...early...only a few boats out on lake at 6am'ish got a coho right off...then another...both on perch shad rap#3 i think.....the smallest one....hotntots did not work so i switched to fire-tiger daredevil...the small size....got a 9 lb brown...biggest ever for me...i am a bit pumped...got a second brown on daredevil ...got one more hit on each lure before i had to boogie...steve heckler...what a ball

I heard about an 18 pounder that was caught earlier this fall/winter that IDNR was not going to allow for a state record. I heard that was going to be appealed since the angler did have permission to fish the property in question. Have you heard anything on this lately?
