Ended up with 21 fish out of E 72nd Wednesday night (See pics in pictures poast). Was a real nice night with hungry fish and good company. P-Shooter, was alot of fun to fish with you. Two fish were over 10 lbs, the rest were from 4-9 lbs range. Clowns did well, as well as black/sylver and blue/sylver, 20-30' back.
PS. To the two boats who fished in the area without any lights: 1 - There's a very good law that says to you that you must have your nav.lights on at night. For your safety and especially mine you might want to give it a second thought. In case you didn't realize, at on point I was heading head on with one of you before I spoted you 300 feet in front. Considering that we are both running a 50-150' spread on each side, you might want to keep your light on so others know where you are and we will gladly go way around you! On the other hand, if an accident is to happen because your light are off, just so you know, you will be liable! 2 - You are not the only one running fishing lines behind you, so when you head into a boat from behind, or side, you might want to consider that, even though you're done fishing and heading in. Why would you have to be flagged down so you don't run over someone's lines. And again, turn your light on! Tight lines everyone, and when your out there please use some common sence! |

Hey I also saw those boats out there. The one looked like a crestliner and the other was a bayliner, they had zero light on I know what your talking about that did kind of suck I saw there Planer Board lights before I saw there boat. I knew we should have ran more than 3 lines and we got 9, if we would have had the spreed we could have done as well as you. We where doing the same thing out there Good Job, Fishcrazy. What boat where you in?

Any info would be appreciated. New to the night fishing thing. |

East or west can be good. I have done better in tight to the rocks than off the rocks. These fish move in and out. Make sure to have your lights on and share the rocks with other boaters. Fish will be on the surface so run your baits up high.
