I'm a rookie not only to offshore lake erie walleyes and boating, but also fishing the reefs in the fall. I was wondering if I could get a little advice. Do you guys prefer anchoring on a reef while casting or drifting across them? I was also wondering what reefs are better to work. We tried to locate cone reef with our hand held gps unit and coordinates from denied, but it put us too far north. Is twilight hour considered five till nine? Thanks for your time.
