Default Green Bay in June???

I'm planning a trip to Green BAy the first week in June and was wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction. I'm bringing my wife and son and am looking for a chance at a big fish and good fishing. Can anyone help and give me some truthful information. We are staying in Green Bay. Thanks for any help.

June should be a good time. Finding fish is usually fairly easy this time of year. There will be large groups of boats trolling around the reefs that are hot at that time. You will probably have to travel north of the city 10 or more miles.

Troll harnesses at varied depths over reefs and in open water. Big blades 5's and up are the norm. I catch a lot of my fish in the top 10% of the water column there. Watch thee boards for posts on blade colors. A good stand by is a big 6 or 7 gold hammered blade.

Tahnks for all the help. Are there alot of reefs or what are the most popular ones and how far are the runs from the fox river in Green BAy. Agin I appreciate the help. When you say open water........do you mean just around the reefs or everywhere?

You will probably want to trailer your boat to Suamico or Oconto. The fish tend to either be around Gaenos Reef or Oconto Shoal in that time of year.
