Default Erie Walleyes Sunday 2-11-07

Caught a six man limit Sunday with Capt Brad Leyda 3 miles out from Catawba. Top notch guide and service, would highly reccommend him to anyone. Lot of people out today, my first trip out this year. Hopefully good ice will stay with us for a bit longer.
Good Luck !!

Come on ! That is a airboat behind him ! Do you think that ice would be unsafe ? It is holding that airboat isn't it ? There was 7" to 10" out where they where at that day.

Think about the sq. ft area that boat has. They could run that boat on 2'' of ice and not go through. You have a better chance of going through than the boat itself.

I was just making a statment about the crack's. Looks like thin ice out there. Not saying 10'' is thin, just looks that way. Sorry didn't mean to dog anybody here.

Would have to think that those cracks are exspansion cracks from the ice expanding when it is "making ice". Looks good to me. Will be checking it out soon.
