Default walleye and perch at gold coast from 6/2----6/9

What a week of fishing. My 2 daughters (11 and 12) and I fished 5 out of 7 days at the gold coast and probably the best 5 days of fishing I could of asked for. We trolled harnesses in 30' to 44' of water to get our walleye. Then we would perch fish in 25' to 28' of water west of coast to get our perch. We would usually troll in morning for couple hours, then switch over to perch around 10:00 or 11:00. My oldest caught her first fish Ohio walleye yesterday (6/9), a pig 29"er. I caught one later in after noon that went over 30". I dont keep walleye over 24", just dont taste the same to me as a 20" fish does. (Just me). For the 5 days of fishing we kept 36 walleye out of the 44 that we caught. And we kept 175 perch that ran from 9 1/2" to 13". A perch has to be bigger than my hand for me to keep it. My girls were awesome this week. Everyday they couldnt wait to get up and go fishing agian. Man it reminds me of when I was ther age. I think they are hooked for life, cause they were both saying how they would never marry a man that didnt love to fish. Amen
