Default Huron Walleye Update

Hello all,
I plan on hitting Huron on Monday 11-19-07 for the first time this season. I did well last year on Husky Jurks blue & silver and also Rip sticks blue hawian, long linning in 17 to 24 FTOW slow troll.

Just wondering if anything has changed much. Will share info! :)

Thanks!

Kingfisher

Limited out sat.the 17th west side of dumping grounds.. rr 50 ,85 ft back. White colors worked good, mooneye minnow, trick or treat, pinks were good. barbie, bubble gum, and td 11's purple descent and purple flash straight lined 85-110 back..

Sunday we got out 1.5 miles 5-7 fter's,was planning to work from the castle back to the dumping grounds, alarms going of on the smartcraft gauge's,turned arround and headed in. Now have to take the boat back to the dealer.. Hope it's just a sensor.. would like to make 1 more trip..

Take care

Nice job on the limit.

Did you fish on Friday, and if so how did you do?

We did fish last fri. but only managed 7 decent eye's nothing over 6 #'s. Worked the east side of the dumping grounds fri. It's hard to leave an area with all the arch's we were marking. Stubborn I guess.

Well I didn't make it up to Huron on Monday. :(

I did go out Tuesday 11-20-07 I fished with a pack of boats a little East of Cranberry in 30 fow for awhile. Didn't see any nets being pulled out at all and was having no luck myself.

Went in closer to shore away from the pack in 24 to 20 fow and headed west of cranberry towards the river. Slow troll about 1.6 to 1.8 mph. wind was light from the North-NorthEast. Got one ticket as I was by myself. All fish came on Char. wonder bread rip sticks 120 ft. back.
Fish were 5 to 9 lbs. Fished from 12:00 to 4:45 PM. No wall hangers but I take it! :)

Hope to make it out again this weekend weather permitting.

Later

Kingfisher
