Trying to justify a one day trip this weekend, been going there for the past few years about this time and the best fishing for me is usually 40-60' pulling harnesses and spoons on dipseys and jets.

Greg, Fished 6/20,21,23,24,25 out of Conny. Friday/Sat went east over PA Line in 25-27 ft of water and we took two limits of NICE fish. 1 29.5/10lb, 1 28.5. (Med Dipsys 3.5 60ft back & 40 jets 80 back. All meat. After Sat Storm could not find em, seemed storm pushed them out.
Mon - Wed Found nice pod straight out of Conny ( thanks to tip from "Goldeneye")in 67 - 70 ft ( trolled / North-South Limits on all three days. Big Dipsys 3.5 130 back in the morning. After about 9-9:30 had to lengthen leads to 170ft. again, all meat. blue/pink on copper. Speeds 1.7 to 2 mph/GPS There there baby !!! was a GREAT week!! Bill:-) |
