Default Fort Francis

Headed to Canada next week and plan on coming across the border late Saturday night. Our plan is to stop in Ft Francis after getting across the border. Does anyone now of a good place to park a motorhome for a few hours in Ft Francis? Does the wal mart there alow motorhome parking like the others in the states. Thanks.

When we used to enter through Ft F in the middle of the night, sometimes we would park for a few hours snooze at the visitor's building/lot, which was just inside the border on the left.

Wal-Mart will let you park there as long as your not where the other vehicles park. I always see big rigs and rv's parked there, shouldn't be a problem.

I think you can head to the east end of town near Rainy Lake Sports where the road leaves town and park on the waterfront. A very peaceful area near the water.
