Briese, Wilke win Fresno tourney

The Helena team of Glen Briese and Randy Wilke weighed in 27.18 pounds of walleyes in two days of fishing to win the Walleyes Unlimited of
Montana tournament at Fresno Reservoir.

Briese and Wilke claimed $2,000 for the victory, outdistancing 95 other two-person teams in the first Walleyes Unlimited Circuit event of the
year.

Luckie Bethel, of Great Falls, and Dale Gilbert, of Ulm, finished second with 23.84 pounds while Norman Kerr, of Jordan, and Kevin Brewer, of
Silver Bow, took third with 20.42 pounds.

The biggest walleye of the tournament was caught by the team of Dick Allran, of Billings, and Owen Perala, of Butte. It weighed 6.46 pounds.
