Where:
Huron, OH
We will be holding the charity raffle and dinner at Messenburgs.
When: October 19-20, 2012
Let's hope for good weather....we are due!
(Friday night is the Charity Raffle, Saturday is the Bragging
Rights Tourney)
I'm not sure which charity will benefit from the event in 2012.
We have been giving the profits to St. Judes Childrens Hospital
for several years and it might be time for a change.
I was thinking about the Wounded Warrior Project.......but as
of right now have not committed to anyone.
Dinner
and the Charity Raffle will be at Messenburgs in Huron.
We will open the doors at 5pm and try to serve dinner between
6:15 and 6:30 PM.
Charity
raffle will begin immediately after dinner.
The
Bragging Rights Tournament will be held on Saturday out of the
Huron Boat Basin.
You can launch from anywhere but we will be weighing fish at the
Boat Basin at 4PM.
Lines in the water at 8am.

We
want to thank everyone involved for the success in 2011.
The
Charity Raffle raised $7,800 for the 2011 event.
The
Walleye Central Charity Raffle has donated $57,200 dollars to
charity since November 2002.

From
the East:
from Route 6/Cleveland Road, continue on Route 6/Cleveland Rd.
through the east side of Huron across the Huron River. You will
approach a stop light after crossing the bridge. Make the right
at the light on to N. Main Street, St Peter Church is on your
right. Follow N. Main St. through the "S" turn. The
Boat Bain and Amphitheater is on your right.
From
the West:
from Route 2, continue until you pass the Rye Beach Road Exit.
Immediately following the Rye Beach Rd. Exit, you will get off
the highway at the next exit. Get into the far right lane. This
is the Huron/Route 6 Exit. The exit will go over Route 2 into
downtown. Before you hit downtown, Fabens Park is on your right.
Proceed in to town, slow your speed to 35 mph. Go through the
first light and approach the second light. Make the left at the
second light. Follow N. Main St. through the "S" turn.
The Boat Bain and Amphitheater is on your right.
From
the South:
from Route 250 in Norwalk/Milan, take Route 250 North to Route
13. This is the intersection just outside of Milan at the traffic
light with a Fire Station on your right. Make that right and follow
Route 13 for approximately 7 miles. You will cross over both the
Ohio Turnpike and Route 2. Once you cross Route 2 you will soon
be in Huron, slow your speed to 35 mph. Follow Route 13/Mudbrook
Rd. into town. You will approach a divided highway with a BP and
Donut Shop. Go through the intersection and proceed North on Main
St. Follow N. Main St. through the "S" turn. The Boat
Basin and Amphitheater is on your right.
