1998 Iowa Walleye Tournament Trail

Six live-release tournaments and a championship invitational. In addition to prize money, points will be given to each team placing in a tournament. Teams not catching fish will receive show points toward the championship and Team of the Year award. The top 15 point holders after the six qualifiers will be invited to the championship. The more tournaments you fish, - the better your chances. Fish some, or fish them all! First place at each event is guaranteed to be at least $500. Pre-register at least 7 days in advance or pay a $20/team late fee. Entry fees are $120 per two-person team. $100 goes to the individual tournament at 80% payback to 20% of the field. $20 goes to the championship escrow fund at 100% payback. Membership required. $15 annually

OFF-SHORE BIG FISH AWARD
A set of Off-Shore planer boards and a snap weight kit to the angler who weighs the largest fish at each qualifying tournament and both days of the championship.

BERKLEY FAMILY ANGLERS AWARD
Two Berkley Gary Roach Signature Series spinning rods to the highest placing Family team in each qualifier (Parent/Child, Siblings or Husband/Wife).

BAIT RIGS BUCKS
Three teams at each qualifier will receive $50 Bait Rigs Bucks for the purchase of Bait Rigs Tackle at a discount price.

SPORTSMAN'S CORNER TEAM OF THE YEAR AWARD
The team accumulating the most points, through the season, wins the free use of a new 1998 Sylvan 17- Pro Select - walleye boat with a 115hp Johnson Outboard from Sportman's Corner in Algona, IA - for one year!

This form must be filled out and signed before contestants will be allowed to fish an Iowa Walleye Tournament Trail (IWTT) event. For teams fishing all the events, your signature at the bottom of this page is understood to be for all IWTT events during the course of the calendar year including the championship.

If a team substitutes a partner, a new form must be signed by the original partner and the substitute. All anglers fishing IWTT events must be members of the IWTT. Membership is $ 10 per angler per calendar year. Please fill out full address for the delivery of your membership materials

A. LIABILITY RELEASE. In signing this agreement, I hereby release the Iowa Walleye Tournament Trail, Moving Mountain Publishing, its agents, employees, tournament directors and sponsors (herein referred to as IWTT, et al) from all damages, claims, demands, costs or expenses relating to injury of any persons or any property which I may sustain or which I may cause by reason of participating in or in connection with this tournament. I understand that by participating in this tournament that I may cause or sustain injury including but not limited to: loss of life, loss of limbs, paralysis, coma, loss of mental functions, loss of sight, loss of speech/smell, dehydration, exposure, hypothermia, frostbite, sun stroke and all other injuries that may be caused in a boating accident and/or exposure to the elements. I further release IWTT, et al for all damages relating to adverse weather conditions while participating in this tournament. It is my responsibility to seek safety should adverse and/or unforeseen weather conditions occur prior to, during or after the tournament.

B. COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND WAIVER OF SUBROGATION. I further agree that I will never sue IWTT, et al for damages on account of any injury, death or damage I suffer or cause whether known now or which may develop in the future. In the event IWTT, et al are sued because of my actions, I expressly agree to indemnify and hold IWTT, et al harmless from any liability whatsoever, including court costs and attorney's fee, arising with respect to such actions. I understand that in waiving my rights to sue IWTT, et al I am also waiving the rights of recovery from IWTT, et al of my insurance carrier for any claims they may pay on my behalf.

C. VERIFICATION OF LIABILITY INSURANCE. I maintain a minimum of $1 00,000 liability Insurance on the boat I will use in this tournament.

D. POLYGRAPH/VOICE STRESS TEST. Failure to take or pass the polygraph/voice stress examination when asked to will result in immediate disqualification without recourse.

E. I SIGNIFY by my signature that I have read all tournament rules and this liability release and agree to abide by all rules, regulations, releases and tournament official's decisions. I agree that this release is binding for all IWTT events in which I may participate including the championship invitational.
