Fresno Challenge Walleye Tournament

Luckie Bethel and Dale Gilbert broke the old two-day Fresno Reservoir record by nearly eight pounds in winning the Walleyes Unlimited of Montana Fresno Challenge Walleye Tournament.

Bethel and Gilbert weighed in 36.92 pounds for two days of fishing to claim a $2,500 first prize.

Defending circuit champions Rod Siemens and Mike Borland took second with 30.82 pounds while Bill Dasinger and David Sorensen were third with 22.78 pounds. 

The big walleye for the tournament weighed 8.58 pounds and was caught by Chuck and Barb Lawson.
