PRIME WATER MISSION  

The Prime Water Anglers was founded by a group of fishing enthusiasts from central Wisconsin. One of our goals was to encourage and promote the many angling opportunities present in our local waters. This year being our first, we are enthusiastically encouraging the continued growth of the outdoor sports and our natural resources through the future growth of our organization in the central Wisconsin area.

The club will offer knowledge and techniques to catching fish by providing an environment of camaraderie among sportspeople. To encourage continued involvement by our youth in the outdoors and be a leader in promoting a positive image of sportspeople and their role as conservationists.

Members of Prime Water Anglers are dedicated to improving the fishing opportunities in our local areas through stocking programs, habitat restoration, and angling education. We advocate the safe, wise use of our fishing resources to insure quality fishing experiences in the future.

  WHAT IS THE PWA?  

PWA is an organization that promotes the sport of fishing through educational, competitive, and social events. Our goal is to bring fisherpersons together to share in the enjoyment of angling. We are a nonprofit organization that was founded by a group of individuals that felt there was a need in central Wisconsin for a multi-species fishing club open to anyone interested in fishing. Come join the PWA and be part of the fastest growing fishing club in the area.

  MEETING PLACE   

Club 10 - Hwy 10 West, Stevens Point - First Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm

  Tournament Schedule  

May 22nd and 23rd 2010 - Annual P.W.A. Spring River Classic Fishing Tournament. Based at Club 10, this is a bass / walleye tournament on the Stevens Point Flowage. Entry fee is $100 per boat and features a top prize of up to $5000 (based on 100 boats). There will be a rules meeting on Thursday, May 20th at Club 10 at 7PM
