Once a lure is snagged, simply thread your fishing line through the retriever and send it down your line. The retriever automatically opens upon striking your leader and/or lure. When you pull on the 72-lb. test heavy duty, braided nylon line, the retriever locks onto your lure with vice-grip action! In the case of stubborn snags, the Snagaway will straighten hooks that can then be bent back into shape or replaced for a tiny fraction of what a lure costs. The Snagaway™ kit comes complete with nickel-plated retriever, the Snagaway reel that is designed for either right- or left-handed use, and 100 ft. of 72lb. test braided nylon line.
