We have eight week night tournaments through out the summer ( See attached schedule for this summer) as fund raisers to help raise money for improving area fisheries in the Mankato-Faribault lake region of southern Minnesota.

Schedule for Summer of 2001

May 22nd	Lake Washington(Westwood)	June 5th	Lake Gorman
June 19th	Madison Lake(North Shore)	July 10th	Jefferson/German
July 24th	Lake Francis	August 7th	Lake Washington(Westwood)
August 21st	Madison Lake(North Shore)	September 4th	Lake Tetonka

These tournaments are for anyone and everyone. Fish one or fish them all! 

This is a team tournament instead of an individual event. You may fish by yourself if you don't have a partner. Entry fees are $10 per person per night. 

We will be keeping track of points through out the year and awarding the angler of the year $120.*

 Points per night are as follows: 

10 for first, 9 for second, 8 for third, 7 for weighting a fish, and 5 for showing up. 
75% payback each nite to the top three finishers. 
20% goes to the Walleye Association, and 5% goes to the angler of the year fund. 

Angler of the Year will be determined by a fish off on Tuesday September 18th at a lake to be determined later. The top eight point earners and anyone who fishes all eight tournaments will be eligible to win angler of the year at the fish off.

*Based on 30 persons per nite $0.50 per person times 8 nites = $120

Rules and Regulations:

1. six fish, only 2 over 24 inches, 15 inch minimum
2. All MN. state boating and fishing laws must be obeyed
3. Ties are broken by: biggest fish, most fish, toss of coin
4. The Walleye Association encourages catch and release!
5. Shotgun start at 6 pm. Must be registered by 5:50
6. Weight-ins at 9 pm. Sharp!
