| Story: 30 inch walleye from Mille Lacs Lake, November 2001.
This was the 2nd 30 incher in my boat in two nights, as I put a coworker onto a 30.25 the night before, that is going to the taxidermy man, and it was one of 5 over 28" for the two nights.
This fish was caught on a #14 husky jerk, trolling in 7 feet of water over rock structure, and was released. Not too bad for a muskie/steelhead angler. I might have to give these walleyes more credit than I have in the past.
