| Story: I caught this fish on my family lake in Northern Minnesota. The Walleye fishing is superb so I am not disclosing the location as we like our Saturdays with only 3 boats on the lake.
I got her in about 9 feet of water on a drop off trolling slowly.
The lure was Fire Tiger Husky Jerk.
The picture makes it hard to see how big she is as I am a really big guy.
She is 34 inches long and probably weighed in the 14 to 15 range.
The fish was released alive just after the photos were taken.
Maybe in a few years I will catch her again and break the state record in Minnesota! |
