| Story: My dad caught this fish on our last open-water fishing day of the year - December 22, 2001. What a beauty, eh? Caught trolling in Picton Bay on a #9 Silver Shad Rap about 17' down in around 25-30' of water. Only days later, it froze tight! You can only catch fish in this location during the day immediately before freeze-up - otherwise you have to fish deeper water during the day.
