TEXAS WALLEYE ASSOCIATION NEWS!

Welcome to the 2007-2008 Texas Walleye Association Tournament trail. Last year was another one of our largest money and prize years to date. Thanks to each of you, our team members, and our great sponsors, we paid out more than $10,000.00 in cash and prizes last year. Our two day championship paid out over $5,000.00. All your TWA entry money and membership fees goes into cash prizes, plaques, and lake permit fees.

*All teams must have a membership to TWA. (This means both members.....$25 each.) Membership money goes into further funding the Championship. The one day tourneys pay at 80% with the remaining 20% going to the Championship.

*We will do all possible to involve new teams in the TWA’s tourneys and good fellowship!

* All pre-tournament meetings will be held one hour prior to each tournament start time. If the meeting should take longer, the tournament time will be adjusted accordingly. We hope this will help those who live outside the area. We hope to be prompt on the start and finish time with these meetings, so it is important that you have your boat docked and your tournament registration filled out prior to the start of the meeting.

*Registration fees remain at $100 a team for one day tournaments and $200 for the Championship. The optional Big Fish Pot also remains at $10 a day. Pre-registration is encouraged with a $10 a team registration discount for all registrations that are postmarked 7 days prior to the tournament. Registrations on the day of the tournament must be made in cash.
