They weighed in 26.16 pounds of walleyes in the two-day Walleyes Unlimited of Montana event to claim the top prize of $2,000. Missoula anglers Charles Johnson and Glenn Klofstad finished in second place with 24.78 pounds for $1,500 while Power fishermen Rick Heck and Ernie Berg took third with 24.28 pounds for $1,000. The big walleye of the tournament weighed 5.28 pounds and was caught by Cliff Nelson, of Shelby, and Leland Chrisopherson, of Havre, on a jig and minnow. The next stop on the Montana Walleye Circuit is Canyon Ferry Reservoir on July 17-18. The Montana Governor's Cup Walleye Tournament is July 8-10.
