Thirty-six anglers from six states gathered at Conchas Lake, New Mexico on March 9 for the Texas Walleye Association's first tournament of the 2003 season.

Although greeted with beautiful weather, cold water made for lethargic fish and an incredibly tough bite. How tough was it? Well, so tough that only six teams managed to weigh in one fish each!
