Dan Vinovich, Pekin IL. And Rick Parrott, Spartland, tied for first place with Ted Koplin and Dan Wheaton of Yorkville, IL with a five fish limit each. Weighing 14# and 9 ounces. They outfished the field of 70 teams with jigs and minnows. Koplin and Wheaton also had big fish of the tournament weighing 3# and 13 ounces. Placing third was Bill Menees and Bob Talley from Dekalb, IL. With a limit of five fish weighing 13# 6 ounces. Rounding out the top five was John Wenskunas and Tim Steignbach from Lasalle with 13# 4 ounces in fourth place. From Princeton, IL. Brian Ernat and Jerry Ernat with 13# 3 ounces. The field of 70 teams caught 279 fish weighing 662 total pounds. The next tournament for Team Walleye will be April 11, 1999 at Spring Valley, IL.
