USFA Iowa / Mississippi River 6/19 - 6/20

On Saturday JUne 19, 1999 the Iowa division of the USFA conducted its thrid qualifying event .

Eldon Olson and Scott Aydelotte of Ventura Iowa out fished the field with a 5 fish limit weighing 9 lbs. 14 ozs. They were maily trolling crank basits in the Catfish Creek area.  

Finishing 2nd was Joe Miller and Rick Taylor of Elgin, Illinois with 7 lbs 13.5 ozs.  Joe and Rick also had big fish for the day with a 4 lb. 3.5 oz. walleye.

Third Place went to the team of Lance Thoe and Frank Wood from Clear Lake, IA 
with 4lbs 1.5 ozs.

Rounding out the top five teams were: Mike Heller and Amy Peters from Clive, IA with 4 lbs 1.5ozs for fourth place and in fifth was Robert and Angela Heaford from Mason City, IA with 4 lbs 1 oz.
 

On Sunday June 20, 1999 the Iowa division of the USFA  conducted its fourth qualifying event.

Mike Heller and Amy PEters from Clive, IA inched out the field by weighing in a five fish limit totaling 11 pounds 4.5 ounces.

Finishing 2nd from Kansas City, MO was the team of Steve Trisky and Craig Browski with a limit of fish totaling 11 lbs. 3.5 ozs

Third place went to Lance Thor and Frank Wood from Clear Lake, IA 
with 7  lbs 6.0 ozs, they also had big fish honors with a dandy 4 lb. 12 oz walleye.

Rounding out the top five teams were: Joe Miller and Rick Taylor from Elgin, Il.
with 3 lbs 9.5 ozs for fourth place.

Fifth place went to Rick Amley and Steve Tempton from Clear Lake, IA 
with 2 lbs 6.5 ozs
 

The next Team Walleye Event for Iowa will be conducted on July 11, 1999
