Results Michigan Team Walleye 4-11-99 Detroit River
The father and son team of Tom and Josh Vanderwiede administered a royal butt
whipping to the rest of the field on the chocolate Detroit River at the first
stop on the 1999 Michigan Team Walleye Circuit.  Outdistancing the 2nd place
team of Mike Zielinski Jr. and Joe Gorris by almost 11 pounds.  The winning
weight was 31.94 followed by 20.96 for the back to back defending champs.
Handlining was the winning tactic as the top 7 teams can attest to.  A total
of 32 teams braved the elements and river conditions.  The big fish was also
taken by the Vanderwiedes a 9.05 beauty. Our next tournament is May 2nd on
the Saginaw River, for more info contact Mike Arnold (616-719-0502) or e-mail
