George Hasner and Ken Lanning took first place for the second year in a row at the Team Walleye Black River tournament with 5 fish for 27.31 pounds. Two of their 5 fish limit were caught trolling Storm deep running crank baits in 20-30 ft. of water off Point Peninsula. The remaining 3 fish of their 5 fish limit were caught in the last 45 minutes of fishing time when they switched to shallow runners and moved to 14 feet of water.

Finishing 2nd were Bob Haskell and Mark Detrick with a weight of 18.82 pounds for 3 fish. They were running Rip Sticks in 30-35 ft. of water in a rainbow trout pattern.

Dave Waldeck and Nate Capton finished 3rd with 18.22 pounds for 3 fish, trolling black and silver mans stretch 20 crank baits. Big fish honors went to Doug Benson and Shawn Burns with 8.95 pounds.
