The husband and wife team of Darold and Florence Swank of Pierre,S.D. overcame adverse conditions to capture a 1st. place finish at Chamberlain,S.D. outfishing 47 teams,they vertical jigged spoons for there two biggest fish and the victory.Severe weather postponed the
tournament for one day and conditions were anything but favorable.Finishing in 2nd. place Chris Kassobe and Dennis Foster from Mellette,S.D. fished Creek Chubs and 3rd. place finishers Todd Engel and Jason Sorenson of Chamberlain,S.D. also used Creek Chubs. South
Dakota's next tournament will be May 8th,99,on Bigstone Lake,Ortonville,Mn.where they will go head to head with the anglers from Team Walleye Minnesota, who has one of there qualifiers on May 9th.99,on the same lake.
